Recent Rule Modifications, Additions, or Clarifications:

OSATPA Rules


HOOK FEES FOR ALL DIVISIONS - $20;    50 % PAYBACK, 6 HOOKS LIMIT PER TRACTOR


2017


DIVISION 2:

Starting with 2017 season, fuel cells will be allowed in lieu of factory located fuel tank.


DIVISION AFS:

Starting with 2017 season, the 10 MPH class will be a points class.


2016


DIVISION 2:

Starting with 2016 season, 16.9x34 tires will be allowed in weight classes 5000 pounds and higher.


DIVISION 4:

Starting with 2016 season, weight classes shall be 4500, 5000, 5500, and 6000.


DIVISION AFS:

  Starting with 2016 season, a 10 MPH class will be offered.


2015


DIVISION 2:

Starting with 2015 season, aluminum front wheels will be allowed in Division 2.


Starting with 2015 season, side shields will be allowed in Division 2.  Side shields must be easily removable to allow tractor to be tech’d.


2014


DIVISION 4:

This class is NEW for 2014.  It will be offered in 2014 on a trial basis and will not count against a competitor’s number of hooks for the day.


SPEED CONE:

Speed cone distance will be set at half track. One beep after flag/cone will result in disqualification.


RD MOTORS:

RD motors will not be permitted for the 2014 pulling season in Div 1, 2, 3, or 4.  However, if there is enough interest, a class will be made for them to run in.  If interested, please contact an officer or tech committee member.  -Tom Hurley


2013


DIVISION 2:

Top Cut Tires will be allowed.


DIVISION 2, 3, 3+

Tractor engines must be stock or engine must be from original manufacturer and bolt in without modification using existing bell housing and motor mounts.  Frames, transmission, rear end, and axle housings must be original or manufacturer replacement.  Dual exhaust not allowed except after stock manifold.


ALTERED FARM STOCK:

Top Cut Tires will be allowed.  Tractor will be limited to maximum of one turbo.


GENERAL

From 2013 forward, any new rules or changes to existing rules put into effect cannot be changed for three years.


GENERAL

All tractors, including Div 1, must have a kill switch in order to hook to sled.


GENERAL

All tractors must weigh out and have drawbar checked after each pull.
